TODAY IS OBAMA, TOMORROW MAURICIO FUNES

The empire tried one time, it didn't work out. Now they try a new strategy for a newest new world order with Obama as the president.
We hope it doesn't work out for them either. That way, we could perhaps see in the future a Latino president.

¡VOTA FMLN!

A new down has come to the United States of America and to the world itself. A country with a history of the most horrendous crimes that humanity has known has elected a minority president, a man descendant from slaves, from the minority of Afro-Americans that along the history of the Union has suffered the most.
With Obama coming to the White House new windows of opportunities will be open for the world and especially to Latin America given that the international relations with the United States were in the lowest of the historical levels caused by Bush blindness and his agenda of war, crimes and exploitation along the world.
The economy of the Union has suffered the worst recession in its history even worst that than the Crack Up of the 30's in the last century and that there is no war, but production and better distribution of wealth the only way to get out of the actual mess and for that is better peace, better international relations and not the Bush war adventures the way to do business in the actual time.
All is better. Obama could establish better relations with Cuba and Venezuela, we hope. The new president could bring peace and justice to the world and bring the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. For a few anarchists, however, the triumph of Obama means nothing, but for serious political analysts he brings hopes to a new order of the world. With Obama knowing by heart the problems of youth in the United States and the world more help will come soon because there is no way the world will be better is needs of the people are not taken care of.

For us in El Salvador everything is going to be better. Better respect for the work of the Salvadoran Diaspora along the Union, better economical relations, better understanding between our two people, better economical bilateral relations based on the needs of both countries. For the FMLN in particular, the winning of Obama brings us hope that as he said: We can, then we answer: we can too.
We the fall and death of the Chicago Boys' Thesis: Private enterprise produce wealth so the state can not intervene in its decisions a new way of economics has to be looked forward. New challenges will have to be faced and we better do that as in the States with a team that knows what has to be done if we are to succeed and will not be only a period that will be needed but a long number of years to fix the mess that we are going to inherit from the thieves of the present and past right wing governments.
For Mauricio will not be anything easy to solve all the problems of our country, but at least he has the will to do so. The FMLN is not promising what it is not possible, but what is objectively achievable i.e., etter food, health, education, pensions for all age , better care for the environment and the reactivation of agriculture and industries without which the recovery of the economy is not possible.
We close by saying: Obama could and we can!
