{MIFN} 5 Actions for '5 de Mayo'

Dear Friends,

'5 de Mayo' marks another day to take action for freedom from injustice.

In 1862, the people of Puebla fought for and gained their freedom from the French troops who had ruled over the Mexican people for over fifty years. Today, some 140 years later, we ask you to please continue to take action for justice to help Lalo, Pablo, and Lupita in D.C.

On this '5 de Mayo' these are five things you can do to get closer to freedom:

1) CALL Rep. Tim Walz: Children still being turned away from meeting, please call today to ask that Congressman Tim Walz meet with the children!

202-225-2472, ask to be connected to Andrea

2) THANK Democracy Now for covering Children's Journey for Justice:
