The International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) - Twin Cities presents a panel featuring: August Nimtz, a Prof. of Political Science at the U of M, Sylvia Schwarz, Engineer and IJAN member, & Jordan Kushner, Civil Rights Attorney and member of the National Lawyers Guild. It will be moderated by Lisa Albrecht, Associate Professor, School of Social Work, Social Justice Minor, IJAN member. This event is endorsed by the Al Medina Cultural Center, Minnesota Cuba Committee, Middle East Peace Now, and Northfielders for Justice in Palestine/Israel.

Shut Down Immigration and Customs Enforcement!
Wednesday, May 6th @ 7:00am @ ICE Headquarters in Bloomington, MN, 2901 Metro Drive

There will be a civil disobedience action and a legal rally to demand immigration reform. For those who are not planning / able to get arrested, we will need to fill a lot of key positions, including: marshalls, jail support, press, etc. Let us know if you are interested in filling any of those positions. Voices from Somali Minnesotans: A Community Response
Saturday, May 9th from 4- 8pm @ Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Ave. S.

Speakers from the Somali community will address the profiling and discrimination they are receiving from the FBI. Politicians and members of the peace movement will also speak in support of the community. Please come and show your support for our Somali sisters and brothers. WORK A DAY PEACE DINNER

Walker Church Basement, 3104 16th Ave S, Mpls

Join us for a family-friendly thank you dinner event with pasta, salad & dessert. We ask you to donate a day's wages (or an hour's wages, or what you can afford) to cover dinner and support the AWC. The event will include a brief program and great conversation. Volunteers needed that night, or the night before (contact us).
