For more than five hundred years, the struggle for peace and justice has endured in these lands (the Americas), from the massacres and rebellions of indigenous peoples against the first imperialist immigrants, to the modern struggles against corporate imperialism which have won immense victories. But the fight in the Americas continues!
This May 1st, we invite all the peoples in our community to come commemorate and celebrate the struggle for immigrant workers' rights in our country.
We invite you to share with the rest of our community in the similar diversity and potential of projects and campaigns that will lead a contingent within the march and have an information table and activities at the community festival!
Although as event organizers we have a specific focus on the Latin@ community, we want to create a diverse environment where we can be inspired by and learn from a variety of groups and forces that are working to create a more just, beautiful and dignified community for everyone!
