[AntiWarMN] Zero Recruitment Day info and upcoming events

Zero Recruitment Day is this Thursday, April 23!
Actions will be taking place at military recruiting centers all over the Twin Cities and beyond!

The Anti-War Committee will take action at the Army Recruting Center on Lake St. & Lyndale Ave in Minneapolis from 8:30 am-6:00 pm.
Our goals are to demonstrate visible opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, expose recruiter lies, and have a direct impact on the war by convincing potential recruits not to enlist! Through our signs and flyers we'll connect the war to the economic crisis under a banner of:
Foreclose the War!
We need YOU to help:
• carry signs and banners
• pass out counter-recruitment information
• spread the truth about recruiting with chalk and other creative means
• read the names of Americans and Iraqis who have died in the war

You're invited to hang out all day. We'll have planned rallies for Noon and 4:30 but stop by any time and bring friends!
Follow us – and the other actions all day on http://twincities.indymedia.org/
OR subscribe to get Twitter updates sent to your phone. Just send a text message to 40404 with the words FOLLOW ZRD.

See http://www.antiwarcommittee.org/ZRD/ZRDstuff.html for printable posters and stickers. Don't enlist, RESIST!

“Ningún pueblo de América Latina es débil, porque forma parte de una familia de doscientos millones de hermanos que padecen las mismas miserias, albergan los mismos sentimientos, tienen el mismo enemigo, sueñan todos un mismo mejor destino y cuentan con la solidaridad de todos los hombres y mujeres honrados del mundo entero.” (Segunda declaración de la Habana)
