La Sra. Sara Muñoz is back!

Saludos a todo/as--

Tengo muy buenas noticias! Sara Muñoz, la esposa de Nixon Avendano (quien fue deportada en Julio y muchos de Uds. habian luchado muy duro para prevenir su deportacion), va a llegar esta noche en Minnesota! Se le han dado una visa humanitaria de un año para que pueda estar con su familia aqui, especialmente su hijito con muchos problemas. La familia esta muy emociondada, por supuesto. Nixon me pidio de compartir las noticias magnificas con Uds., y tambien de agradecerles a todo/as por todo el trabajo que Uds. hicieron para ayudar en el caso de Sara.

Eso es un ejemplo de una victoria de justicia--pero solo se consigue justicia luchando juntos. La familia de Sara ha luchado para ella sin descanso. Celebremos la felicidad de la familia, y utilizemos esta esperanza para fortelecernos en el camino para la justicia por todas las familias.

Greetings, all--

I have really good news! Sara Muñoz, the wife of Nixon Avendano, (who was deported in July and many of you worked very hard to prevent her deportation), is going to arrive here in Minnesota TONIGHT! She has been given a one year humanitarian visa so that she can be with her family here, especially with her youngest son who has many problems. The family is very excited, of course. Nixon asked me to please share the wonderful news with all of you, and also to thank you for all the work that you did to help with Sara's case.

This is an example of a victory for justice--but we only get justice when we struggle together for it. Sara's family has fought without rest for her. Let's celebrate the family's happiness, and use this hope to strengthen us as we work for justice for all families.
